Our intentions

  1. To focus on networking and building durable relationships between participants
  2. To break out of the boring-conference schema, and make this a lucrative event for you

We plan on doing this through:

  1. relevant presentations for these times: online pedagogy, online tools, online european marketspace,
  2. workshops that would tickle your creative instincts in order to make you more aware, more productive, more inspired

We know Zoom fatigue is real – so we’re planning against it

We know your time is precious – so we’ll give you workshops to choose from – so you get the most benefit

We can’t wait to meet you!

We shall hear talks on:

✨Learning in the digital age

✨Covid-19 & acceleration of e-training

✨Soft Skills Market in Europe

✨Working with uncertainty

And that’s not all – we’ve also got workshops prepared for you where you’ll get to put your mind to work, collaborate, refine and co-create.

Start the new year with an extra boost of knowledge and motivation from the European Debate Trainers Conference 2021! We have two days of talks and interactive sessions waiting for us, in addition to some precious international networking opportunities while travelling is still largely restricted.

Radu Atanasiu

teaches at the Maastricht School of Management, both in Romania and in the Netherlands, at the Entrepreneurship Academy in Bucharest, and online, on the German platform iversity.org, where his massive online open courses had tens of thousands of students from all over the world. Radu also delivers executive courses and workshops on Critical Thinking, Decision-Making, Persuasion, and Complex Problem Solving. His first book, Critical Thinking for Managers, will be published in 2021 by Springer Verlag. Radu’s research at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam is focused on managerial decision-making, more specifically on managerial heuristics, which are the simple proverb-like rules that we learn from experience. Radu has an extensive presence in the media, both with the articles he writes himself in business magazines and newspapers, and with being invited in numerous interviews and podcasts. Aside from this, Radu is involved in some promising tech businesses. He also runs marathons, often dressed as Mickey Mouse. This last piece of information is meant to undermine any expert authority he might have built, so that all arguments brought forth will be evaluated solely by their intrinsic value.

He will be facilitating the workshop “What if they say no?”
